For those who favour the gentler and more cursive nature of Italian design, this sofa is the answer to the classic, structural shape of the modular unit with its asymmetrical lines and soft upholstery. Baxter sets out to encapsulate the ‘Made in Italy’ standard in a collection of sensationally designed furniture – and that’s exactly what it does. The Artik armchair, designed by Paola Navone, is crafted out of Mongolian wool – a fibre that's not only prized due to its softness and durability, but also expresses a wonderful textural design through the long, curly tendrils.
