The Wheelwright is a wine that pays tribute to the founding father of the Henschke winery, Johann Christian Henschke, who established the estate in 1868 as one of the first Barossa German pioneers of South Australia. A natural pairing to beef stroganoff, its nose is just as berry-forward, with subtle notes of anise, cedar and sandalwood complementing the raspberry and blackberry aromas.
