Scared that this money would fall out of their pockets, people started to store their coins in the weejuns of their loafers – what would, shortly after, start to be known as the penny slot. To this day, the phenomenon has continued – albeit less as a necessity and more as a fashion statement. This iteration by Christian Louboutin sees this hardware detail brought together with a croc-embossed finish and contrast leather.
