Sparkling wine most often uses white grapes, but a sparkling red can be just as satiating. Lambrusco – the grape in question – has close ties to the Chiarli family, with the vineyard producing the wine after witnessing its success at their Modena restaurant. This Lambrusco del Fondatore 2023 edition is deep ruby red in colour, releasing notes of wild berries and blackberries on the nose and a freshness and powerful acidity on the palate.
