Husband-and-wife duo Afra and Tobia Scarpa brought quiet sophistication to Italian design, blending modernist rigour with rich materials and impeccable craftsmanship. Both graduates of the Università Iuav di Venezia, the visionary couple created timeless pieces for brands like Cassina, mastering the balance between innovation and understated elegance.
