Only released in exceptional years, the Möet & Chandon Grand Vintage collection is founded on three pillars: freedom of interpretation, the year’s finest wines and the individuality of the vintage. 2016 came with challenges – a frosty start to the year and damp spring led to increased chances of diseases – but the House managed to bottle its 2016 vintage Champagne. On first pour, aromas of toasted bread and hazelnut are noticeable before hints of fruits and florals break through. On the palate, the structured body hosts sweet notes of clementine and pomelo.
