The Sadie Family’s winery is in a rare position of being spread across such a particular area of land in South Africa – 60 acres, to be exact – that its vineyards range from the ocean to the mountains. This allows for a wide variety of grapes, all of which are farmed organically and biodynamically. The Soldaat 2022 vintage offers fruit notes of red cherry and pomegranate, with a bright red hue and soft tannins that will develop deliciously if left for a few more years.
