This Umeshu has all the fruity flavours of the Ume Plum, as well as hints of apricots, and marzipan. On the palate it has a smooth texture and a very long finish. Isake was created by the passion of a French Sommelier and a Japanese Saké expert to bring to a wider audience their discoveries of the finest Japanese Sakés . The Prucia is a new creation, and is a fusion of Japanese and French cultures. The plums come from Moissac, the finest plum-growing area in France. The plums are then macerated in grape spirit and then aged in French-oak barrels.
