Sartorial connoisseurs will know that Balenciaga’s famed Hourglass bag is known for its definitively curved silhouette. This is imagined as a tribute to the brand’s Spanish roots, as the House’s founding father Cristóbal Balenciaga used to create Basque waistcoats. For Spring/Summer 2023, creative director Demna reimagines the classic shape with a crushed effect over the leather, a contemporary look for the modern style icon.
