The Shiraz grapes that grow upon the 500-million-year-old soils of the Mount Edelstone vineyard were planted in 1912 by Ronald Angas – a direct descendant of George Fife Angas, who founded South Australia. The Mount Edelstone Eden Valley Shiraz is now in its 65th release, making it the longest continuously produced single-vineyard Shiraz in Australia. All that history results in a crimson red with aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry mixed with crushed flowering herbs. On the palate, its velvety tannins give it a mature character and lingering finish.
