Monte-Real

A product of the Bodegas Riojanas winery in the Rioja region, Monte-Real is a globally recognised brand whose deep passion for winemaking is evident in each bottle it produces. Founded in 1890 and run by the Artacho family, the wine growers use expert techniques honed over the last 100 years to yield a selection of much-lauded red wines and many excellent reserves. Recently celebrating its 125-year anniversary – marked with a special-edition Rioja – the renowned quality of Monte-Real’s wine can be traced back to the origin of the grapes it uses to ensure each flavour is rich in personality and complexity. Each wine is fermented in stainless steel first, then aged in American oak barrels and aged again in the bottle prior to release.
