Daniel Bouju's family has been producing Cognac since 1805. The grapes are grown on his own estate in St-Preuil in the very heart of Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru vineyards of Cognac. Each Cognac is aged for a minimum of five years in Limousin oak casks. Long, spicy, elegant and complex, the Extra Grande Champagne Cognac is aged at least 35 years in new and old oak barrels. Intense scents of sweet and dried fruit, chocolate, tobacco, cedar wood and roasted coffee are balanced by a marked touch of earthy Rancio Charentais.
