Chateau Brane-Cantenac’s second wine, Le Baron de Brane, was produced to honour the historic owner of the estate in the 19th century, Baron Jacques-Maxime de Brane. Aged for 12 months until it achieves its dark garnet colour, this expressive blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has a remarkably complex nose of menthol, ripe black fruits, smoke and lavender.
