Alessi 3909 Basketball Player-Whistle Kettle (2L)

Originally designed by Princeton architecture professor Michael Graves, the 9093 kettle saw the classic whistle updated into playful forms with matching handles. The 3909 kettle has been updated with input from Virgil Abloh Securities, infusing the late designer’s keen eye for the avant-garde and his own personal affinity for basketball. The energy of the dunking player is transmuted through the power of steam into an auditory experience, the boiling water mimicking the raucous applause that echoes around sports halls worldwide.
