The Alzero Cabernet 2001 vintage is a unique offering; with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, it’s aged in barriques for two to three years before being aged in Slavonian oak barrels to achieve notes of morello cherries, leather, tobacco, figs, Panforte, Panpepato, black tea and cocoa powder which all affirm its depth.
