The Venezia ballet flats are so named for the floating city of Venice, a metropolis famed for its scenic waterways and romantic disposition. Indeed, the sculptural shape of these suede shoes, with a curved body and pointed toes, could well be modelled after the famous gondolas that slip beneath the architecturally marvellous bridges and between narrow cobbled streets.
