This year’s Christmas collection sees Trudon build on the opulence of Versailles, reviving the balls and masquerades once held by Louis XV at the Château through the magical medium of scent. Designed to convey a royal art de vivre, the Angelo candle is housed in a vessel decorated with stylised chandeliers, pendants and curtains, while the inside is coated in 24-karat gold leaf. Rich with gourmand notes of orange and cinnamon, it unfolds into a comforting, woody-amber scent with a musky base.
