The La Dame de Montrose is the second label of the Chateau Montrose estate, first created in 1983 as a tribute to Yvonne Charmolüe who single-handedly ran the vineyard from 1944 to 1960. Known for its merlot-predominant blends that offer distinctive red-fruit aromas, this wine achieves a silky blend every year. The 2019 vintage showcases an impressive structure; with dark tannins, it’s regarded as a big wine, ideal for drinking from 2025 onwards.
