The Comme des Garçons PLAY logo is the product of Rei Kawakubo’s unique creative process; rather than commissioning specific graphic designs for a specific garment or collection, the Japanese designer selects iconography from her previous projects, with the heart icon resurfaced from a previous independent art project with Polish graphic artist Filip Pagowski.
