Casa Ferreirinha’s Reserva Especial is made from a blend of native grape varieties which is then matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, then bottled and aged for 5 years before release; since 1960, only 16 vintages have been released. Once opened, this deep ruby wine releases complex aromas of red fruits, wood, tobacco and florals but upon drinking, you’ll notice incredibly present tannins and acidity accompanying those notes.
