Château Palmer takes its name from British army officer Major General Charles Palmer, who bought the estate in 1814.
Château Palmer hails from the Médoc region of southwestern France, an area whose reputation for heavenly reds precedes it. With this bottle, an unusual blend of Merlot and petit verdot mixes with the classic cabernet sauvignon to give it a generous, fleshy structure. In terms of taste, notes of black cherry create a beautifully fragrant palate that’s effortlessly lifted by a fresh hint of acidity.
