Chanel’s acquisition of Château Rauzan-Ségla has led to many improvements; grapes are now sorted by hand and aged in high-quality sessile oak barrels, the amount of Merlot has been increased and the estate has moved towards organic farming methods. The 2016 vintage boasts a medium-bodied profile infused with floral aromas and dark berries, making the perfect acocmpaniment to venison or beef.
