In 1858, Louis Vuitton’s stackable trunk redefined travel and became an objet d’art that symbolised the House’s humble beginnings. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière delves into the archives to unveil a reimagined version of the iconic silhouette in honour of its rich history – thus, the Side Trunk shoulder bag was born. Imagined in the label’s signature monogram canvas, it retains elements from the original design, including the iconic S-lock hardware and gold-tone corners.
