The first bottle of Lytton Springs was made in 1972, from vines planted on the eastern half of Ridge’s estate, where Zinfandel made up the majority of the grapes. For its 2021 iteration, the blend is midweight and acidic, with a note of red and black raspberry, spices and dark chocolate, and a full-bodied palate of blackberry and ripe plum.
