Located in the heart of Tuscany, Sesti was founded by Giuseppe Maria Sesti in 1987, when he used his background as an astrologer to farm and produce wine following the lunar calendar. One of the winery’s three 100% Sangiovese wines, Castello di Argiano Sesti Phenomena Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 2017 has an aromatic profile characterised by dried cherry, spice and tar, while the warm year gave the tipple a heightened sugar and tannin count, with an elevated acidity for balance.
