Panthere De Cartier Watches & Jewellery

Hear the words Panthère de Cartier and it’s likely you picture a watch with a square case and a linked bracelet steeped in ‘80s nostalgia, but no longer is this the only arrow in the collection’s bow. Today, the essence of the line lives on through rings, bracelets and even cufflinks, proving that there are no limits to the brand’s prowling mascot. But where did it all begin? 1913, to be precise, when Louis Cartier commissioned an illustration of a panther at a woman’s feet for an exhibition invitation. It was George Barbier that penned the initial blueprint, Jeanne Toussaint that expanded on it, and every one of the brand’s loyal fans that continues to give it meaning, both now and forever.
