Emilio Pucci

Born into an illustrious Florentine family, Emilio Pucci was a Renaissance man in every sense of the word, with an extensive background of travelling and education. What began with a ski outfit he designed for himself in 1947 soon turned into a fashion phenomenon appealing to the eyes of socialites and jet-setters. Showcasing his first womenswear collection in 1951, Emilio Pucci’s designs featured free-flowing lines with the allure of couture that could be worn both day and evening. Today, the label is part of the LVMH portfolio, with the addition of swimwear, sunglasses and children’s clothing, still inspired by its founder’s exotic travels and the natural landscapes of the Mediterranean. Emilio Pucci’s use of vivid colour and the iconic library of 'Pucci prints' remain integral, as art director, Camille Miceli, introduces a rotation of designers and brand partners to put their own spin on the brand's DNA each season.
