Barbour

The story of this iconic British outerwear label begins in 1894 in South Shields, where the family-owned business is based to this day. Championing the unique values of the British countryside, Barbour’s famous waxed cotton jackets provided all-weather protection for a range of outdoor pursuits on land and at sea, even developing standard issue gear for submariners in the Second World War. Today, the label’s stylish ranges encompass sought-after outerwear which references those original designs, including the Barbour Liddesdale quilted jacket and Beadnell wax jacket. Signature trims come in Barbour tartan, alongside lightweight raincoats, leather jackets, tops and knitwear. Launching the award-winning Northumberland shooting range in 2004, Barbour has also created covetable collaborations with Land Rover, William Morris and more.
