Roger Vivier

Roger Vivier designed his first pairs of custom-made shoes in 1930 for Mistinguett and Joséphine Baker, two famous entertainers of the time. Following this success, he launched his namesake label in 1937 with the aim of creating luxury footwear for the greatest fashion elite. Renowned for using unique materials and shapes, Vivier’s plastic, Boule and Choc shoe creations soon became icons and he was even commissioned to design Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation shoes, becoming the only designer to attend the Royal crowning ceremony. Today, the brand’s collections combine the same elegance and fashion-forward style, featuring everything from ballet flats to heels and off-duty espadrilles, all of which come in a variety of glamorous finishes and sparkling embellishments.
