Polo Ralph Lauren’s Hillsview Selvedge jeans have quite the story to tell. Their life starts in the cotton fields of the United States, where high-quality cotton is harvested. From there, raw materials are shipped to Japan, known as the "denim capital of the world". Using traditional techniques inspired by 1930s-era looms, the denim is ring-spun and rope-dyed, resulting in a richly textured fabric with deep, natural hues. Once the yarn is produced, it is returned to America, where each pair of jeans undergoes a hand-finishing process that involves up to 50 individual steps.
