Fornasetti is iconic due to its love for Lina Cavalieri – an opera singer in the late 19th century that was famous for being considered as the most beautiful woman in the world. Resultingly, the Milanese artist Piero Fornasetti ended up creating over 500 artworks inspired by her, which is here realised in the sculptural Bocche vase, featuring Lina’s rosebud lips reiterated over the silhouette.
