The Sangiovese grapes – or Brunello grapes, as they’re known in the region – that make up Poggio di Sotto’s exquisite Brunello di Montalcino are grown in Tuscany on the southeast side of Montalcino. Sitting on the river, they thrive with the ancient volcano on one side and the sea breeze on the other. The result?
