Hermès

Hermès signifies French style and craft in equal measure. Originally a harness workshop founded in Paris’ Grand Boulevards in 1837, Thierry Hermès laid the foundations for what would become a fêted equestrian institution care of quality bridles and horse bits. Fast forward nearly two centuries and the maison counts ready-to-wear, jewellery and homewares alongside its portfolio of leather goods – special mention to the lauded Birkin and Kelly bags. What’s more, Hermès master perfumer Christine Nagel distils the maison’s fashion history into fresh, contemporary fragrances for him and for her. Plus, 2020 marks Hermès’ first foray into make-up, unveiling a range of lipsticks (including signature orange) for which the packaging is as chic as its contents – all scented by Nagel, of course.
