Established in 1854 with a selection of trunks in the now-iconic monogram, Louis Vuitton’s spirit of adventure is woven into its very foundation. The Maison might have begun with luggage but, over 150 years on, its empire now extends to Louis Vuitton shoes, Louis Vuitton dresses and the ever-popular Louis Vuitton bags, from cross-body bags to holdalls and everything in between. Nicolas Ghesquière has been the artistic director of womenswear since 2013, while Louis Vuitton chose Pharrell Williams to head up its menswear collections in 2023, the musician having first collaborated with the French brand in 2005 with the Louis Vuitton x Pharrell sunglasses launch. His debut collection for Spring/Summer 2024 hypnotised fans with a lasting effect, referencing his American upbringing and style inspirations via pixelated prints, iconic accessories and covetable LV jackets.
