It has been come to our attention that allergen information is not emphasized on the packaging of the Qinwan Date Bars. Allergen information is as follows:

- Orange bar: Contains Gluten.

- Sesame halva bar: Contains Sesame and Gluten.

- Peanut butter bar: Contains Peanut and Gluten.

- Chocolate bar: Contains Gluten.


As these products may pose a health risk to individuals with allergies to Gluten, Sesame or Peanuts, they have been removed from sale.


If you have a known allergy, intolerance or sensitivity to Gluten, Sesame or Peanuts and have purchased Qinwan Date Bars, please do not consume the product containing the relevant allergen (as noted above). IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store. However, we regret to advise that Stokke have identified a potential manufacturing problem with the Stokke YOYO³ Pram (EAN No. 00000007673363001) as pictured below. There is a possibility that a potential parking brake issue may exist in certain YOYO prams, that could result in an unintentional release of the brake during use. Whilst there have been no consumer reports of any issues, out of an abundance of caution, Stokke has initiated a voluntary recall of all affected Yoyo prams.


The issue is limited to Stokke YOYO³ prams with a serial number that begins with the sequence “142AA” followed by a number that falls below “0062239”. The below pictures show where the relevant information can be located on the pram so that appropriate checks may be conducted to establish whether your pram may be affected and subject to the recall.

Whilst no injuries have been reported, the safety of our customers is our top priority.


Stokke have advised you should immediately discontinue use of the product and follow the guidelines below to apply for a replacement pram frame, if your pram frame meets the above criteria:


Visit the Stokke online recall portal https://recall.stokke.com/yoyo3 where if your product is confirmed to be part of the recall, you will be promoted to register on their website for a replacement pram frame. This will initiate the shipment of a new frame. You will receive a confirmation email from Stokke with instructions for returning your affected frame free of charge.


If your pram is not included in the recall, you may continue to use it safely.


If you gifted the product(s) to someone else following your purchase, we would be very grateful if you could pass this information on to such person.

It has been drawn to our attention that certain batches of the Harrods Mini Strawberry Cheesecake may contain an undeclared allergen - "FISH gelatine". All affected products were removed from sale as soon as this information came to light. The batches that we believe may have been affected are those with a use-by date of 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st June 2024. The use-by date can be found on the label applied to the cheesecake.

The potential contamination of nuts poses a possible health risk for customers who are allergic or have an intolerance to nuts.

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store. However, we regret to advise that we have identified a manufacturing problem with the above products. In summary, when the toy’s hat (which is fastened in several places) is turned inside out, the yarns can unravel creating lengths of material, creating a hazard to children. This issue is restricted solely to the aforementioned two products, sold by Harrods between October 2021 and November 2022, which can be identified on the label located behind the main Harrods label, ending with characters F85560 or F85561. These two products were available for sale through Harrods’ selling channels in-store within the UK, online and internationally within Qatar, Taiwan and Thailand.


The safety of our customers is our top priority and, accordingly we are undertaking a full product recall of these two items. Harrods advises customers who have purchased either the Woolly Bear or Woolly Penguin to:

1. Take a photograph of the product(s) (with the label and batch code clearly visible) – this may be required for the purposes of processing your refund; and

2. Stop using the product(s) immediately and dispose of the product(s).

It has come to our attention, regrettably, that these products with best-before dates of 1st March 2020 and 15th April 2020 do not feature the relevant allergen declaration on the label: egg and nuts (hazelnuts). These products are being recalled by the product manufacturer and have been withdrawn from sale by Harrods.


These products contain egg and nuts (hazelnuts), which makes them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg, or an allergy to nuts (hazelnuts).


The product manufacturer has reported this to the Food Standards Agency and has contacted relevant allergy-support organisations about this recall. If customers have an intolerance or allergy to the above allergens, we ask that they dispose of the products as opposed to returning them.

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store.  However, Harrods regrets to advise that it has been notified potential problems with the above lighting products sold from the Harrods Lighting department.  This issue affects the Flos Bon Jour Unplugged Lamp, produced between October 2016 and up to July 2019.


It has come to our attention that with extended recharging, the rechargeable battery may overheat.  To verify if your model is affected you may refer to the numerical code on the small label found on the plug-in power supply.  If the third number is either 6, 7 or 8, the product contains the battery that needs replacing; if the third figure is a 9 and the first and second figure are from 01 to 18, it also requires replacing.


Harrods advises customers who have purchased any of these products to stop using them immediately and seek a New Battery Kit by contacting the Customer Service team on +44 (0)20 3626 7911 or via email [email protected].
